Looking Back

SureCert has achieved some incredible milestones, including:

• Successfully verifying over 75% of Northern Ireland’s population with reusable digital identities.
• Enhancing inclusivity, with over 50% of the NI 60+ age group having verified digital identities.
• Advancing AI-driven verification technologies to make edge case document processing faster, more reliable, and inclusive.

Some highlights from 2024 include:

• Co-creating SureScore with government agencies to seamlessly verify the legitimacy of third-party organisations, ensuring due diligence, financial security, and compliance in corporate transactions and registrations.
• Hosting Northern Ireland’s first public sector Fraudathon in partnership with NI Direct Government Services and the Chief Executives’ Forum, tackling identity, corporate, and document fraud while showcasing SureCert’s leadership in fraud prevention.
• Successfully completing the City of London AI Innovation Challenge, showcasing expertise in fraud prevention and KYC/AML compliance alongside leading financial institutions.
• Securing a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) AI Marketplace, enabling broader adoption of our AI-powered solutions across the public sector.
• Expanding our team by welcoming Fergus McGrath as Sales Director, bringing extensive expertise in building strategic client relationships and driving business growth, and Aaron Patterson to our tech team, strengthening our capacity to deliver innovative, AI-driven solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
